Invisalign Consultation

Invisalign is a revolutionary orthodontic treatment that has transformed how people view traditional braces. Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made, clear plastic aligners that are worn over the teeth to gently shift them into proper alignment. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign is virtually invisible and offers a comfortable, discreet and effective option for people seeking to improve their smile.

At our practice, we are proud to be ranked as the #1 Invisalign provider in the nation. Our experienced orthodontic specialists are dedicated to delivering outstanding results and exceptional patient care. Our virtual Invisalign consultations make it easy and convenient for you to begin your smile transformation journey.

What Happens At A Virtual Invisalign Consultation

Our team of scheduling specialists will guide you through the entire process.

With the use of secure and HIPAA-compliant Zoom video software, you can meet with one of NVO’s top-ranked doctors and a treatment coordinator to discuss smile goals and treatment options. How Long Does An Invisalign Consultation Take

NVO reserves 45 minutes for all our new patient consultations. During the consultation, the orthodontist will evaluate the patient’s teeth and bite, discuss treatment goals, and explain the Invisalign treatment process. They may also take photos and x-rays of the patient’s teeth and use advanced technology to create a digital mouth impression. This information will help the orthodontist develop a personalized treatment plan for you or your child. If you have any questions or concerns during the consultation, the orthodontist will be happy to address them.

What To Expect At An Invisalign Consultation

At an Invisalign consultation, you can expect to meet with an orthodontist who will evaluate your teeth and bite and discuss your treatment goals. Here are some of the things you can expect to happen during your Invisalign consultation with NVO:

  1. Evaluation: The orthodontist will examine your teeth, jaws, and bite to determine whether Invisalign is a suitable treatment option for you. They may also take photographs, x-rays, and digital impressions of your teeth to create a 3D image of your mouth.
  2. Treatment plan: Based on the evaluation, the orthodontist will develop a customized treatment plan for you. They will discuss the treatment process and explain how Invisalign can help you achieve your desired outcome.
  3. Virtual simulation: Using the 3D image of your mouth, the orthodontist can create a virtual simulation of how your teeth will move during Invisalign treatment. This can help you visualize what your smile will look like after treatment.
  4. Cost and payment options: The orthodontist will provide you with a cost estimate for the treatment and discuss payment options and financing plans if necessary.
  5. Questions and concerns: You will have the opportunity to ask any questions or raise any concerns you may have about Invisalign or the treatment process.

By the end of the consultation, you should clearly understand whether Invisalign is the right treatment option for you, how it works, how long it will take, and what the cost will be.

How Much Is An Invisalign Consultation

The cost of an Invisalign consultation can vary depending on the orthodontic practice and location. Some practices may charge a fee for a consultation, but Northern Virginia Orthodontics offers FREE Invisalign consultations for kids, teens, and adults. Simply give us a call to book your consultation, or fill out our consultation request form below. One of our scheduling specialists will work with you and your schedule to book.

At our practice, we are committed to making Invisalign treatment accessible and affordable for everyone. We offer flexible payment options and accept most dental insurance plans for treatment. We offer special savings for active duty and retired military personnel. We also have financing options available to help you achieve your dream smile without breaking the bank.

How Long After An Invisalign Consultation Do You Get The Aligners

The length of time between the Invisalign consultation and receiving aligners can vary depending on the orthodontic practice and the complexity of the case. In some cases, the orthodontist may be able to start the Invisalign case process right after the consultation, while in other cases, additional appointments may be needed should the patient need additional care from their general dentist or an oral surgeon.

Once the treatment plan has been developed, the orthodontist will send your digital impressions to the laboratory, where the custom aligners will be fabricated. This process usually takes a few weeks, and once the aligners are ready, you’ll be scheduled for a follow-up appointment to receive the first set of aligners and learn how to properly wear and care for them.

What Happens If I Don’t Want Invisalign After My Consultation

If you decide that you don’t want to move forward with Invisalign treatment for you or your child after the consultation, there is no obligation to accept the proposed treatment plan. The orthodontist will provide you with information about other treatment options that may be available to you based on your individual needs and preferences.

It’s important to remember that Invisalign and Invisalign For Kids are just one option for orthodontic treatment, and alternative options may better fit different lifestyles, budgets, or treatment goals. Your orthodontist can discuss these alternatives with you and help you make an informed decision about orthodontic care.
