Dr. Zach Casagrande was the night’s big winner at the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 Small Business Awards.
Dr. Casagrande received top honors at the Chamber’s award ceremony on Friday, November 8, and was named the 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year for his incredible business achievements and leadership.
“Most people think of orthodontists as doctors who straighten teeth – which we are – but I’ve also been lucky enough to be surrounded by so many great people that have allowed me to grow my practice into a business that impacts more than just the patients we treat,” said Dr. Casagrande, founder and owner of NVO. “Of all my accomplishments as an orthodontist, business owner and entrepreneur, I am most proud of the difference Northern Virginia Orthodontics has been able to make in this community.”
Northern Virginia Orthodontics opened its doors in Brambleton in 2008 with just two team members and two scheduled patients. Since then, NVO has grown to include 50 employees and four locations, and has changed over 20,000 smiles.
In 2018, NVO launched its own 501(c)(3), The NVO Foundation, with a mission of partnering with programs and organizations that are actively impacting the fight against pediatric cancer and the greatest needs of the community.
