The team at NVO is dedicated to providing the best orthodontic care to our patients in a safe and healthy environment, while following all governor-mandated orders. In order to maintain the health and safety of our patients and staff, please read through the following measures outlined below that we are taking in our offices for all appointments.


NVO SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

All NVO doctors and employees will be receiving regular testing for COVID-19. We are also taking extra precautions for our patients’ safety and will only be utilizing private treatment rooms for appointments during this time. Additionally, we will be wearing advanced PPE masks, gowns, and eyewear for all procedures.


PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT IF…

-You are experiencing any of the following symptoms: respiratory symptoms (runny nose or congestion), fever, cough, sore throat, body aches or shortness of breath. Also, please make us aware if you have had contact with anyone who is/has been ill with any of these symptoms.

-If within the past two weeks, you or someone you have been in contact with, have recently travelled from a CDC designated high-risk area, been on a cruise, or have come in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

BRAMBLETON OFFICE PROTOCOL

1. Upon arriving to Brambleton for your appointment, please remain in your vehicle and text ARRIVED + the patient’s name to 703-337-3604.

*Please note – this is NOT our office telephone number. This is a separate number to use to text our office.

2. You will receive a confirmation text from our office and we ask that you remain in your vehicle until your assistant is ready for you.

3. Once your assistant is ready for you, you will receive another text instructing you to come into our office. A screener will be waiting for you in the hallway to take your temperature, ask you a few questions and have you fill out our COVID screening form. Your assistant will then take you back to your chair for your appointment.

4. If you are a parent or guardian of an adolescent patient, after the assistant takes the patient back to their chair, you can go back to your vehicle to wait until the patient is done. You will receive a text message once the patient is done and ready to be picked up.


RESTON, ONE LOUDOUN & TYSONS OFFICE PROTOCOL

To minimize the number of people entering our office and maintain social distancing procedures, we respectfully request that only the scheduled patient enters the office for their appointment. We also recommend that you bring your own mask to wear while in our waiting areas. If additional family members who do not have scheduled appointments come with you, they will need to wait in your vehicle during the appointment rather than our waiting area.

We ask that you wait in your vehicle until the time of your scheduled appointment. At that time, you may enter the office and a team member will be waiting to bring you back immediately. It is also important that patients do not arrive late to their appointments in order to avoid any backup of patients in the office. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for another time or date.


Thank you for understanding and adhering to these enhanced health and safety protocols. As always, our staff will continue to follow level of universal infection control precautions per OSHA and CDC guidelines. It is our priority that our practice remains a very safe space to continue to administer care.
