Dr. Kheirandish was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Northern Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated at the top of her class. Her dedication to learning the craniofacial complex received recognition as the recipient of the American Association of Orthodontists award, and her research efforts in Invisalign received publication in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, a highly prestigious orthodontic journal.
Dr. Kheirandish strongly believes in giving back to her community, driving her to serve as a dentist for an underserved population of Virginia following her graduation from dental school. She was then presented with a distinctive opportunity to assist orthodontists nationwide in utilizing Invisalign’s cloud-based treatment planning software to achieve their treatment objectives, further refining her expertise in Invisalign. Dr. Kheirandish received her training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Louisville, where she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, whose membership is by invitation only to the top 10 percent of graduate students. Upon completion of her residency program, she received her Orthodontic Certificate and Master of Science Degree in Dentistry, both with a 4.0 GPA.
Dr. Kheirandish is not a new face around NVO. In 2017, she was a clinical assistant in NVO’s Ashburn and Reston locations, where she trained under Drs. Casagrande and Barcoma. After leaving the practice to advance her education in dentistry and then in orthodontics, Dr. Kheirandish happily returns to Team NVO in a different role- as an official NVO orthodontist!
When not in the office transforming smiles, Dr. Kheirandish is most likely throwing a ball for her dog, Lily, or cycling on her Peloton. In her spare time, she loves discovering new music, traveling, and letting out her competitive side on the pickleball court. She is passionate about animal rescue, and is a volunteer for a local non-profit organization, SFC, where she adopted her dog three years ago.
