Education & Experience

Dr. Cole first realized the value of a smile while on a missions trip with his father in the Dominican Republic.  After growing up in a family of dentists and orthodontists, he always knew about the “family-business”, but was hit first-hand with the importance of the profession when he experienced the tremendous effects that a person’s smile had on their overall well-being and self-esteem. Dr. Cole has committed his life to working to meet this need in a tangible way.

Dr. Cole grew up in Ridgway, PA and attended Grove City College to earn his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology.  From there, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating summa cum laude, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.  Dr. Cole received his Masters of Science and certificate in orthodontics from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He completed his research on 3D printing clear aligners and is passionate about lifetime learning!

Dr. Cole and his wife, Cassie, have two young kids: Kayden & Ruby and love being together as a family.  He loves to read, run, and root on all Pittsburgh sports teams. As a former backpacking and whitewater raft guide in Colorado, he loves getting outside any chance he gets. He loves to travel and try out new restaurants and is active in his local church. He is so excited to get to know Northern VA and all that it has to offer!
